For perspective: There were 388 hostile deaths per year among US service personnel during the Iraq war for a total of 3,490. Firearm deaths among U.S. children averaged 3,095 PER YEAR from 2000-2021. (3/12)

From 2011-2021, there were over 60 times more firearm deaths among U.S. children than American police officers killed by firearms. Let that sink in. (4/12)

Overall firearm mortality rates were significantly higher in states with weaker/fewer gun laws (like #Arizona). States with weaker/fewer laws have double rate of firearm deaths compared to states with stronger or more law. (10/12) https://t.co/JSCFNLYiM5
